Wildgoose is one of the most creative and dynamic companies in the events industry and is looking for freelance event professionals to join our team, and help us through the next stage in our exciting journey. With growth of 340% since 2011, a growing team of 20+ core staff, and delivering in excess of 1,500 events in 2015 alone, we’re looking for freelancers who have a range of skills that will help us meet the demands of our clients across the USA.
Using our unique app, we deliver events across the globe on smartphones and tablets to corporate clients looking for anything from a fun break-out activity to a fully facilitated conference. This is not a job for the work shy, but rather is the ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a platform to use their many talents to the max while pursuing other freelance work. We are currently looking for a range of freelancers from presenters to event crew but our event managers are the highest in demand. Our event managers need to be comfortable briefing groups of 20 – 200 people while making sure the event is delivered to the high standards of the company.
Over the next year we aim to deliver events in cities and locations across North America and need a range of competent freelancers who are able to help deliver them anywhere from mountain resorts to cities, from hotels to zoos!

Freelance Event Presenters, Event Managers & Event Crew
A typical event day will last between 4- 10 hours
Day rates start from $150 (up to 10 hours) + overtime + expenses

Whether you begin as event crew or go straight into presenting to crowds of 500+, we aim to train all freelancers to be multi-talented in the art of Wildgoose Events. In summary, there are five key areas we are looking for in our freelancers.
You will work with the Wildgoose USA team to deliver events on devices loaded with our own unique app to a variety of clients across America. Each job will involve the following:

You will be interested in travel, cities, exploring and all that goes with it. This is the heartbeat of our business so if you have no interest in the world around us then this probably isn’t the company for you!
You will be tech savvy. We don’t expect you to be a super-techie, but you need to know your way around a smartphone or tablet and standard venue AV.
You will also need to have your own reliable laptop and a remote clicker for presentations. If you own a MAC you will need to have any adapters needed for HDMI and VGA cables
Well educated with strong written, numerical and verbal communication skills
Experience of working in a hands-on role within the Events Industry
Experience of working within the corporate events industry and/or team building
Experience using a smartphone or tablet device with a variety of apps
Experience of setting up standard AV such as projectors and speakers
Having a full driving license would be useful for out of city location events but we have a lot of city based events which require public transport instead.
Personable with clients. The ability to speak with clients in a professional manner with a relaxed demeanor is essential to this role
Creative – our events are creative and we need the people who deliver them to be creative too
Keen problem solver with the ability and willingness to take ownership & resolve issues
Ability to be flexible and to thrive in a hard working team
Ability to build relationships with staff, partners and clients and to work in their best interests
Languages – Although not essential, we regularly work for DMCs who require a variety of bilingual speakers to present. French, Spanish, Portuguese and German are the most popular
