Jonny's licensing sales mission
You may be aware that I have recently been on a bit of a sales mission across Asia and Australia to meet potential new licensees to grow our Global Goose Licensing family.
What a trip!
In 17 days I managed to visit 6 countries (Macau, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and China, plus a visit to Singapore to meet Asian Detours who are our licensee there!). I flew for 54 hours and travelled just over 24,000 miles.
It’s a good thing that I have an ability to sleep on planes (I was travelling Economy before you ask!). What was really interesting is the huge amount of interest that I received from everyone that I met, and I am very confident that we will be able to successfully grow into these markets over the next 2 – 3 months.
What it also reminded me of is the power of getting in front of clients to show them the app, which is always the best way of selling. Relationships are formed, trust is built and by travelling like I did, they could see that this was a real priority for our business.
We are really committed to growing our global family so watch this space for what I hope will be a busy 8 weeks of introducing new licensees!
