Clifton

Clifton is probably the most well-known part of the Bristol; famous for its suspension bridge, which spans the Avon Gorge and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and Royal York Crescent, the longest terrace in Europe. If you are looking for the best backdrop for our  team building Spy School game then Clifton has it all. The area’s rich history dates back to the 18th century when it was developed as a fashionable residential area for Bristol's wealthy merchants. Many of the buildings in Clifton were designed by famous architects such as John Nash and William Butterfield, and today the area is designated as a conservation area. The Clifton Observatory and Caves offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding countryside, and the Clifton Downs, is popular for picnics and outdoor activities. There is plenty to see and do in Clifton and lots of places to quench your thirst if you are taking part in one of pub explorer bar crawls.

Gloucester Road

If you take a walk along Bristol’s Gloucester Road you will see a plethora of street art, including some of Banksy’s originals. The road is a major thoroughfare and shopping area and known for its vibrant and diverse community, independent shops, cafes, and restaurants and cultural events. Full to the brim of vintage clothing stores, artisan bakeries, specialist food shops, music shops, art galleries and bookshops along its two mile stretch, Gloucester Road is a must for the Urban Explorer or Pub Explorer. On Saturdays, it hosts a popular farmers' market, which would make a great pitstop during a self-guided teambuilding exercise. Many of the roads buildings and walls are adorned with colourful and intricate murals, making it an instagrammer’s dream and perfect for those smartphone selfies. It has a strong sense of community includes students, families and young professionals and the annual Glos Rd Central Mayfest, which features music, food, and arts events take place there.

Stokes Croft

Pub Explorer teambuilders will love bohemian Stokes Croft for its bohemian scene and vibrant nightlife. Originally developed for wealthy merchants, it became a hub for counter-culture and creativity as artists, musicians and writers flocked to the area. Street art has become a defining feature of the area, with tours and exhibitions showcasing the works. Members of your team looking for brain-busting Scavenger Hunt will love all the nooks and crannies this area has to offer. Stokes Croft also has strong community spirit, borne out in projects run in the area and is home to several popular music venues, including The Crofters Rights, which has hosted many up-and-coming bands.
