With growth in excess of 350% since 2011, a growing team of 30+ core staff, and delivering in excess of 1,700 events per year, we need someone who has a range of skills across a number of marketing disciplines that will drive sales and raise our market and brand presence up a number of notches.

We have an office in central London (5 minutes from Oxford Circus) and in the village of Bovingdon in Hertfordshire. This is an office-based role and we ideally see you splitting your time between both offices, with remote working options available.
This is not a job for the work shy, but rather is the ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for an entrepreneurial platform to use their many talents to the max. We are looking for a good all rounder who will support and inspire the sales team with creative campaigns and support materials that will sell, seeing them through from conception to completion and with tangible sales-led results. “Plate Spinning” skills are a must, paired with an ambitious yet organised and proactive approach.
From a personal perspective you will combine your creative flair with an interest in technology and the possibilities that it can provide in the events, learning and training world, coming up with new solutions that appeal to existing and new markets. Wildgoose’s success is a fusion of our creativity and technology platform, and the marketing team need to embody this.
You’ll have a broad range of skills in all things marketing and we expect that you’ll have worked in the industry for no less than 4 years and be ready for that step up with responsibility for your own areas of the marketing mix, with a particular emphasis on creating campaigns to extract maximum value from Salesforce, Pardot, Mobile Adventures, Social Media and the website.

Creativity will play a part in all areas where you will have key responsibility. You would be responsible for the following key areas for Wildgoose UK and Wildgoose USA:
A key part of this role will be to give you the responsibility (under the guidance of the Marketing Manager) of getting the best out of Salesforce and Pardot to drive Leads and generate Opportunities for the sales team. This would use a mixture of:
Using the experience that you have gained, you will make suggestions to improving the CRM and Pardot, and we would attribute revenue targets to this area so that it becomes a key focus and inspires you to use your initiative to try new ideas and create results.
We are launching a new e-commerce site in June 2017 aimed at the hen market and you will need to take the lead on making this a success. You will work with the Marketing Manager and our app development company to ensure this works and drives the revenues that we need.
We have budgeted an initial fee for online advertising and you will need to work with our SEO and PPC agency to ensure this is spent in the right areas over the first three months of launch to bring the maximum results. As a new website, this will need analysis and tweaking to ensure we are learning from what works and what doesn’t, and you will need to action changes quickly.
Success of this project will lead to cloned versions on the Hen site, to focus on Stag weekends, Birthdays and the US Bachelor and Bachelorette market. This will need to be self-funded to start with through the revenues from the Hen site, so we need to work hard to get this right quickly
You will continue to drive the social presence of Wildgoose across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. As we grow into new markets (L&D, Onboarding, Licensing, Active workplace) then we need to build our authority through a relevant, exciting and progressive social presence. This will result in a growing band of followers and leads for the business.
Our main website (www.wearewildgoose.com) needs to constantly evolve, and you will be heavily involved in this under the leadership of the Marketing Manager. The Learning & Development section of the website is due to be expanded in August and we will be planning a US version of the site later in 2017 to ensure we build an SEO presence in the US.

In the short-term you will continue to drive this although we plan to hire a Marketing Executive with an emphasis on design, video and photography to bring much needed resource to this area. Recruitment for this role will commence soon.
Bachelor degree in Marketing and a qualified member of the CIM or equivalent
Well educated with strong written, numerical and verbal communication skills
Experience of working in a target driven sales and marketing environment, with tangible results
A minimum of 4 years Digital Marketing experience, preferably in the events industry.
Experience working across a wide range of marketing areas including online, social media, PR & written communication.
Experience of delivering e-marketing campaigns using a CRM system, with evidence of successful and tangible outcomes.
Tech savvy – if you don’t know your way around a smartphone, tablet or web page, then this is probably not the role for you!
Full driving license
