Careers

Wildgoose are always on the look out for dynamic and motivated Sales, Marketing and Event Staff…

We are an award winning team events company delivering unique, tablet based challenges for team building events. We’re expanding rapidly and are on the look out for enthusiastic and motivated people to join the team.

If you’ve got experience within the events industry and are looking for that exciting next career step and a new opportunity, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Full Stack Engineer

As our Full Stack Developer, you will be working as an integral part of our Engineering team.

Initially, you will be working closely with the CTO/CPO to develop and maintain high quality web applications to facilitate the sales and delivery aspect of events for Wildgoose. Particularly, this will focus on building new consumer-friendly platforms to aid growth and automation of the sales and operational processes.

This is a hands-on role - you’ll be the go to for all things related to Web Development. This can range from maintenance of the existing platform to providing support for new developments, from initial conception to delivery. You will also be expected to aid and facilitate backend development, such as API development (mostly to support new front end development).

You’ll have plenty of opportunity to flex system design and coding skills, with the freedom to approach and use the technologies you enjoy.

To begin, you’ll be a leading member on multiple projects. Future scope includes the additional aspects of managing a (to begin) small development team - mentoring other developers and managing the scoping, scheduling and resourcing of sprints. Coaching will be provided to help achieve this.

We have strong ambitions to grow our products and team, as our software engineering team grows, you’ll be at the forefront of setting the standard.

Our tech stack is built on Ruby on Rails, we require you to have prior experience working in this framework.

Additional kudos if you have experience in any of the following:

  • Tailwind
  • Stimulus
  • RabbitMQ
  • Sidekiq
  • Prismic
  • Stripe

Event Executive

Wildgoose Events is an ambitious and growing company with offices in London and New York. We design and deliver a range of unique smartphone and tablet-based challenges across the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World for corporate and leisure guests, and have an ambitious plan to double the size of the business in the next 3 years.

At the heart of our business is our technology and our people, who work hard to deliver over 2,000 events a year, ranging from off-the-shelf self-managed solutions to fully-blown custom made experiences. We have also been undergoing an exciting phase of tech development to open up new routes to market within hotels, venues, event management companies, charities and corporates.

We also license our technology globally to over 35 partners who deliver an additional 4,000 events a year.

With a growing portfolio of clients and licensees and an impressive growth forecast for the next 3 years, we are looking for an ambitious Event Executive who is creative, dynamic and well organised, looking to take that next step in their career.
