Oxford University

World-renowned Oxford University is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in the world. Urban explorers can take in beautiful colleges, including Christ Church, Trinity, and Balliol, as well as the Ashmolean Museum and the Bodleian Library. The history buffs among your team can immerse themselves in more than 900 years of history and culture. While the academics can follow in the footsteps of theoretical physicists Albert Einstein and Professor Stephen Hawking, writer and mathematician Lewis Carroll and actress and activist Emma Watson. Oxford Castle and Prison

Oxford Castle and Prison have a rich and fascinating history which spans almost 1,000 years. Its nooks and crannies could be great addition to a treasure hunt or while searching for clues using your smartphone. The castle was originally built in the 11th century and played a key role in the English Civil War in the 17th century, while the prison, which was in use until 1996, was known for its harsh conditions and held many notable prisoners, including the famous poet and writer Oscar Wilde. Take a guided tour through the prison’s cells and exercise yard to get a glimpse into what life was like for prisoners in the past.
