Corporate Event Activities in Birmingham

Birmingham is a city of firsts when it comes to invention and innovation.

From the air we breathe – oxygen was discovered in 1774 by Birmingham chemist Joseph Priestly, to the first football league in the world and the FA Cup, there is no shortage of inspiration for visitors to the second largest city in the UK.

Manufacturing is a huge part of Birmingham’s history and the city’s inventors played a major role in the mechanisation of factories and mills and supplying the Royal Mint with up-to-date equipment.

The first working steam engine was built in the nearby Black Country, and fictional train Thomas the Tank Engine was brought to life by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry, who lived in the Kings Norton area of the city.

It is this boom in industrialisation which has led to the sprawling city of today, attracting visitors from far and wide, making Birmingham the perfect place for your corporate event.

As well as taking part in an immersive team activity, you'll get to explore the city’s streets, which are home to more than 100 Balti houses, the most Michelin star restaurants outside of the capital, and the UK’s busiest theatre.
